I am SV (Shawn Valle), based in Massachusetts. I'm a multi-instrumentalist, singer / songwriter. Much of my passion in music ranges from pop to rock to electronic music, and I love exploring mixtures of traditional organic sounds with electronic sounds.  As for singing, I have a wide vocal range, and love to belt out vocals (Journey and Panic! At The Disco come to mind), but also enjoy singing in styles of Taylor Swift, Green Day, and Trent Reznor (just to name a few). My primary instrument is percussion / drums, with guitar, piano and experimenting with others.

Currently, I am focusing on my solo original music project, Spartan Valley (which mixes my genre interests), and working on recording a full album. I recently finished a 3+ year run, working as lead vocalist for hard rock band, Octavate, for two albums, considerable radio / press spots, and a bunch of live shows.

I have been drumming, singing, and writing songs since I was a kid (~30 years), and I have a unique perspective on music, where I enjoy being the backbeat/leader of the band on drums; as much as I enjoy performing and being the front-person representing the voice of the band.

My career highlights, include my early years playing with a rap/rock/punk group, Suspicious Hooligans, where our recorded music was more aligned with the punk/hardcore style, and our local touring often would sell out each room we'd play.

So, for now, I continue to pursue a great recording sound for vocals and drumming, and am now extending my services to other artists looking for vocal or drumming recording. I can do all recording remote from my professional studio, and look forward to building a great relationship with everyone I work with.
